Britannia Range Cookers
As a leading specialist, Britannia Cookers offer a variety of classic and contemporary style cookers that will suit almost any style of home. And Britannia cookers are completed by the collection of built- in ovens and hobs, Britannia Hoods and accessories that they have available. One of the first things that you notice about Britannia cookers is that they are so easy to distinguish between. The style selections are not just subtle differences between models, but complete style shifts meaning that each will be loved by different customers.
Britannia cookers never fail to impress with their ‘up to the minute styles’ and innovative use of colour in their ranges. As well as being a manufacturer of high quality appliances, Britannia knows aesthetics as well as it does practicality and some of the new patterned Britannia cookers that are available are something of a work of art.
Britannia Cookers Available Today
The Britannia Sigma is available as single, twin and XG models and has a contemporary style that is best at home in a modern house whether it has shaker or glossy style cupboards.
The Britannia cooker named ‘Dynasty’ is also available as single, twin and XG models and the focus with this style is the chunky controls and strong, solid doors that will suit a professional looking home whether it is modern or traditional.
The Classic comes with the same choices of ovens as the Sigma and Dynasty, but differs drastically in style. Instead of straight lines and glossy finishes, this cooker is designed with elegance in mind and will suit a traditional kitchen. The Sigma, Dynasy and Classic selections are available in several sizes.
The E Line is offered in only two sizes: 90cm or 1m but it is available as a single or twin oven model. The E-Line is simple and smart. It does not have the ‘wow factor’ of the Sigma, Dynasty and Classic selections and is only available in black or steel. However, it does have all the functionality of the other styles and has an energy efficiency rating of B.
The Britannia L Line model is available in three sizes: 90cm, 100cm and 110cm and comes with a choice of finish of stainless steel or graphite. This particular collection of Britannia cookers is a favourite of customers and is the longest running of all the Britannia cookers.
New Britannia Cookers
As well as your usual colours such as stainless steel, gloss black, white and cream, new Sigma Editions now offers ice blue, candy pink and velvet red. These colours, which ever you prefer are guaranteed to make friends and family stop and admire your kitchen, if for no other reason than they are so different and make your home feel unique and a bit, well, special.
Great colours are good, but great patterns make for even more individuality within your décor. The Nina Campbell selection takes the 100cm Dynasty model and turns your kitchen into an exhibition. The three beautiful and tasteful patterns include Deauville, Damask and Wisteria and are so different from anything else on the market today.
Britannia specialises in cookers, whether it is a range cooker,a built in oven or a hobs and you can almost guarantee that you will not be disappointed with yours. One thing that we would suggest is that you make sure you have appliances that will match or at least compliment a Britannia cooker that you get before you buy it, especially if you are going for something a little bit different. After all, there is no point in having a great looking Britannia cooker if none of your kitchen is not coordinated.
Britannia Cookers in the Community
Britannia cookers are not just about style, they are also about taste. Britannia is associated with the Meluki Cookery School in Beaconsfield and the Aldeburgh Cookery School in Suffolk, where courses are taught using Britannia Cookers , built-in ovens and hobs. They also have their own Home Economist who is there to help owners of Britannia cookers to get the most out of their appliance and to answer any queries or to just provide some culinary inspiration. Britannia is quite a young company compared to some of the other European kitchen appliance manufacturers and was established just over 20 years ago in 1985. Despite its youth, Britannia was one of the first companies to introduce range cookers into the United Kingdom. It would seem that they found an area of the kitchen appliance industry that they excelled at and have dedicated themselves to range cooking ever since. By 1999, Britannia had grown steadily enough to warrant new premises and they moved to their own Britannia House where there are now over fifty people employed in their head offices as well as its own delivery and installation team and its very own service engineers.
It is comforting when you make such a large purchase that you know that the ongoing service that you will receive will be good as well as the quality of the appliance that you are buying. Perhaps this is another of the factors that makes Britannia a popular choice today
