Fridge UK

Unlike the American fridge which is associated with an American design, UK fridges do not have a well known conventional design that can be really associated with the UK. However, there are very many varieties, types and models of fridges in the UK market today with each one tailored to meet consumer needs in different ways.

A traditional UK fridge was designed in such a way that the freezer and the fridge were on the same compartment. This was a rather poor design and it was so inefficient that food stored in the fridge could not last for long.

Modern models are more design oriented and much more efficient than the old ones. There are several designs today in the market for you to choose from and it will all depend on your personal needs and preferences. These designs are intended to offer maximum customer satisfaction and at the same time save on the overall cost you incur on the fridge in terms of energy consumption and maintenance.

Dual doors fridges have the freezer and fri0dge compartments situated side by side next to each other. These types of fridges are best suited for a person who is in need of an ice dispenser on the door or even wants to store the frozen goods at the lower levels.

On the other hand, split level fridges have the fridge and the freezer compartments situated either on top or below each other. If you do not want to be bending over every time you want to access vegetables, salads and drinks from the fridge compartment, you could as well look for the design that has the fridge situated on the top part. However, if you usually use the freezer more than the fridge compartment, you could opt for the one with the freezer on top.
