Washer dryers are a combination of washing machine and a dryer. People who live in smaller properties of small houses, particularly those in the urban areas, go for a washer dryer. This is because they only require space of one, whereas if we go for both of them separately, it will consume twice the space of the former. It is a two in one device. That is it washes clothes as well as it dries the clothes. For this it is also known as a combo washing machine. Because of it’s this quality, it does not require a separate air vent. This is because, it have a two drum system.

It makes the air to flow into the outer drum. There a condensation process takes place which cools the air and condenses the water vapour out of it.  It has various build in options such as controlling temperature depending on the various type of fabric put for washing. Having a washer dryer doesn’t mean that only if you wash can you dry or vice versa. Each activity can individually be done if needed.

A washer dryer is different from a stackable machine, in that the former is build in together as a single machine and the later are two individual and separate machines. The former consume lesser space than the latter. The similarity is that both perform the same functions.  Another type is a laundry center. It is a mix of both the above said types. It is a convenient machine and it saves much time. Input of manual labour are very less when compared to the other models. It consumes less space also. All in all, the demerits, if any are only minimal when it is weighed with its merits.
